My Wandering Spirit

For as long as I can remember I've had a wandering spirit. An unquenchable desire to explore, investigate, search, learn and discover. As a child this lead me to daily treks through the fields and forests on my family's farm. As an adult this lead me across the globe. The one constant has been a sense of uncertainty and excitement all rolled up into a ball of wonder. I've often thought that there was something wrong with me because I've always felt this sense of restlessness. Now, in the wisdom of my 40's, I can see that this "restlessness" is actually an insatiable zest for discovery and adventure that has lead me on all of the journeys of my life. In moments of quite I simply wonder where my wandering spirit will lead me next.
